Layla, Part I {Gilbert, AZ Newborn Photographer}....
After our 5 week vacation to Utah and Colorado this summer, I got to be home for a total of 8 days before packing my bags and flying up to Idaho to meet Amanda's brand new baby girl, Layla. We were pretty much in photographer's heaven with a perfectly beautiful brand new baby girl and suitcases and closets FULL of props. I must say it was pretty dreamy to have two sets of hands, two pairs of eyes making sure everything was perfect, etc. We took a LOT of pictures....and I mean a LOT. Holy smokes! So I'll share a handful of my favorites from our first day together...

I LOVE squishy, happy babies. I love taking their pictures. I love making them smile. And I love their crazy faces!
Ha ha ha! I'm in LOVE with this one! She thought it was SO much fun to bounce up and down in the bowl. We were cracking up!
Beau... {Gilbert, Arizona Newborn and Baby Photographer}
This chunk of love STOLE my heart! He's definitely the squishiest newborn I've photographed, weighing a whopping 10.5 pounds when he was born. He had to be at least 11 pounds by the time we got together for pictures. I loved chatting with Beau's mom...who just happen to have 4 kids all arranged in the same order as my own. We discussed our adoring hubbies, sweet kiddo's... and just life in general. I love that when my clients leave I feel like I've made a new friend. Here's a little sneak peek for Beau's mommy. Mmmmm....squishy goodness!

Sweet little Lil! What a precious little peanut! It was a little tricky getting her to stay asleep for me, but we got some great pictures....

I just think about my time with beautiful Daly and a big smile spreads across my face. Her parents absolutely ADORE her and spent the whole session just oooohhhhing and aaaahhhhing over her. It was the sweetest thing!
She was simply divine!
Her lips were absolutely amazing!!!
And then we headed outdoors to get some amazing shots....
