Tower of Strength...
I LOVE having little "give-aways" on my blog. One of my blog-readers happens to be an LDS author, named Annette Lyon. I often saw her post on my blog and enjoyed reading her sweet comments. Then one day it just kind of hit me.... I have her books on my shelf. Her books... sit on my shelf.... and she reads my silly little blog. I've cried over pages that she's written and been touched by stories of love and perseverance. Her talent is one that I've always wanted. Even though I was always in the Honors English classes in high school, writing has always been difficult for me... it's always been a struggle... a struggle to be able to communicate my feelings on paper.
Her newest book "Tower of Strength" looks to be just as good as her other books. I want desperately to snuggle up on the couch and get lost in it's pages... but life continues on and my "list" simply won't allow it.... yet. But I will.... and hopefully soon! I DO have an airplane ride coming up.... so for sure then!
H.B. Moore, Author of Abindai said this, "As the title suggests, Tower of Strength is a powerful read. Tabitha is a woman readers will immediately connect with, becoming caught up in her journey to find a second chance at life. Annette Lyon deftly weaves a tale of loss and new love set in a historically vivid era and delivers a novel you won't be able to put down." I LOVE novels that I can't put down!
Annette offered a book for me to give away, to one of you. Just leave a comment and I will choose a winner, one week from today. Good luck!

I'm in! It's going to be hard to put my People magazine down for a few days, but a little change might do me a little good. Thanks Holly.
I love reading, but haven't been doing much of it since we started a major home improvement project. Luckily, the project is going fast so I should be able to delve into a few good ones in the coming months. This one looks great!

I love to read, and will surely pass it on when I'm done with it for others to enjoy too!
Would love to be the one. Love ya Holls.
Since I don't do comments on the blog...you've got my email I think.
Love your header. I'm trying to read the book right now for my review tomorrow. It is so hard to rush through a good book when you want to breath it in.
Right on.
You definitely do not need to be ashamed of your writing. You have caught my attention more than once, even though I don't comment often.
I'm not a reader but I almost bought that book yesterday for my friend who is going through cancer. The lady at the store recommended it but when I asked if it had anything sad, she said maybe just at the beginning. She said it was so great I almost bought it for myself. I went with Promise of Spring for her, I hope she likes it.
Sorry about having to go private, I'm friends with Tara
Thanks, Ale R.
OOh always up for a great escape from life...a good book!
