Hi! I'm Holly Brimhall, a newborn photographer in Gilbert, AZ. I am the mother of 4 and a lover of ALL things baby. This blog is where I share the life of my family and favorite pictures of my newborn photography sessions.
Conference Weekend....
I love our little tradition of heading up to Greer to watch General Conference. We decided to invite a few families to come up with us to share the weekend together. We spent our time having picnics by the river, making bird feeders and hanging them in the pine trees in the front yard, going on nature walks, making all kinds of creations out of clay and popsicle sticks, playing games, building cabins out of lincoln logs, going shooting, eating all kinds of yummy food, and watching conference. We had such a great time and loved the messages and beautiful music shared during conference!
The girls used extra bird feed and pine needles to make nests for the birds to make them feel at home. They even set extra piles of bird seed around to lure in the beautiful birds of the white mountains.
Grant was pretty excited to do a little shooting...
Jarom spent a good five minutes shaking up this root beer. He couldn't wait to blow it up!
Grant was pretty proud of himself when he hit his target...
Jarom is quite the little sharp-shooter. He hardly ever even missed....
The water in the river was FREEZING cold, but a few of the kiddo's braved the icy chill...
Others stayed on the banks and threw rocks in the water, trying to make the biggest splash...
Grant tried to steal a hug.....ha ha!
We had to get a group picture of the monkeys before we headed home Sunday evening....
Crazy faces....
Savannah's famous crazy face....
As we pulled into the driveway later that night, we thought it was strange when the garage door didn't open. Somebody pulled a prank while we were gone, and "power-boxed" our home (along with MANY other houses in the neighborhood). We had to throw away everything in the fridge and most of what was in the freezer....April Fools Day. Not a good joke! Bummer way to finish off an otherwise fabulous weekend!

Ooo, that is a mean practical joke! I've always wondered why electrical boxes are out on the side of the house where anyone who wants to can access it. I loved that our house in UT had the electrical box in the basement.
Maybe put a lock on it to avoid this prank in the future?
