Hello? Anybody there?

Hi there. I'm Holly. And apparently I STINK at blogging!

I have, no joke, at least 2,000 pictures to go through. I have memory cards I haven't downloaded, weeks of pictures stuck on my camera, and folders and folders of untouched pictures. And time is flying by faster and faster. I honestly don't know how I'll ever catch up.

The kids have started school. And I've finally gotten the three suitcases in my bathroom unpacked and put away....although the counter is covered with clothes and laundry and food that need put away from our recent trip up to the mountains for the annual B-13 family reunion. Sad that I had 3 SEPARATE suitcases strewn across my bathroom floor, huh? Here's my excuse. I had flown up to Idaho to visit Amanda and her brand new baby girl. When I flew back into town, I hopped in my car and headed STRAIGHT to Greer. We enjoyed a week together and when I got home with the kids, I had one hour to pack, to go spend a few days away with Brett celebrating our 15 year anniversary. You think unpacking one suitcase is daunting? Try 3. Ha ha!

2.5 months ago I was in Utah, though. And I have a few pictures to share (these are going to have to come in shifts as I slowly sift through and edit)!

One day, while Brett was in town, we decided to take the kids to Discovery Gateway in downtown Salt Lake. They LOVE it there and could spend a whole day exploring and building and creating and pretending. It is the BEST!

Little Bubbers was cracking me up in this silly bird costume. I should've video taped him! He was strutting around, shaking his tail feathers and staring himself down in the mirror. Dang, I love him!

I cannot resist a Little Miss smile! She had a blast outside in the "air command center" by the helicopter. She was laughing at Brett through the glass.

I was lucky enough to attend a Power of Mom's retreat while I was there. This retreat truly deserves a whole post in and of itself. I have pages and pages of notes and ideas to help make me a better mother, to build our family stronger, to make our home more heavenly. I cannot wait to start implementing some new ideas into our family. (I'm in the back row...in yellow)

My sisters and I took the kids to the Hogle Zoo, one day. The boys were particularly in LOVE with all of the awesome dinosaurs.

We loved spending our days hanging out with cousins and enjoying the beautiful weather. I particularly LOVED the view from the balcony of our rental for 3.5 weeks. That and walking to the temple to do some temple work. I LOVE the temple! Now my kids want to LIVE this close to the temple! :)

And since our rental did not have laundry facilities, we got to experience the laundromat. Putting my slaves, I mean kids, to work.

Well, I'm off to put some food away and sort some laundry and tuck some kiddo's in bed. Maybe I can sift through some more Utah pictures tomorrow. Then I can do Colorado, Idaho, Greer, our anniversary, Roosevelt, first day of school, family reunion, etc....not to mention a few photography sessions to share! Phew! I'm gonna need a nap first!
